On average, each person has approximately 7 keys on their key ring.  And all these keys gain access to different locks.  Front doors, back doors, car doors, garage doors, fence gates, cash boxes, window locks and key cabinets - the list is endless.  And for locks such as those for the front door of your home, this may even require two keys.

This isn't even taking into account the number of keys you may be carrying around for work purposes.  And depending on your line of business, this may even be triple the amount you carry for personal reasons.

So where on earth do you store all these keys?  Well I can safely say that most people prefer just to secure individual keys on different key rings.  When it comes to our home and work places keys, these are also usually labelled for purpose.  A sensible thing to do as many of these keys can look very similar.

Nevertheless, with a bunch of keys just lying about in your home or workplace, covered in labels that could direct anyone to the source of their access, we are not always taking security precautions into consideration.  The simplest answer to this is investing in a key cabinet.

These are fixed storage units designed solely to house numerous keys securely.  Larger key cabinets are well suited for businesses, and smaller cabinets are ideal for homes.

Now the ironic thing is, many of these key cabinets are locked by means of a key.  So the question is, where to you store the key that gains access to all the keys?  Well not to worry, key cabinets are also available with digital locking systems.  Now all you need to do is remember the code!
